Parton Lumber Company is a 3rd generation family-owned forest products company established in 1949. We are "integrated from stump to finished product" with nothing to waste producing lumber, chips, shavings and mulch.

Located in western North Carolina the Parton sawmill & dry kiln operations produce approximately 55 million board feet annually primarily of Appalachian red oak, white oak, poplar and eastern white pine along with other minor species.  Parton ships domestically and around the world providing quality lumber to all facets in the wood industry.  The Parton chip operations produce approximately 400,000 tons of quality chips for the paper products industry throughout our region.

We buy timber! Our foresters & buyers are experienced, skilled, timber cruisers using the latest state of the art equipment to best evaluate the volume and value of timber.  Parton works with land owners on how to best manage their timer from economically and sustainability stand point.....
